So happy to share that one of my paintings has been selected for the Emerald Spring Exhibition 2017 – National Juried Show! I'm so excited!
Here are some details- taken from their page- please see link below:http://emeraldartcenter.org/
The Emerald Art Center announces their 12th Annual Emerald Spring Exhibition 2017, a fine art painting competition with $5,000 plus in Cash Awards. Best of Show $1,500; Gold Medal $1,000; Silver Medal $700; Bronze $500 and others to be announced.
The Emerald Spring Exhibition is a national juried show begun in 2005 to recognize, promote, and reward excellence by top artists from across the nation and expose the community to a great show of fine art. Held in May each year, the highly successful exhibit offers $5000 in financial awards, merit and recognition awards, and an opportunity to be seen by art lovers and collectors from around the Pacific Northwest. Works in the exhibit are also reproduced in a quality full-color catalog of the event.
This year’s Juror is Ruth Armitage who will select up to 70 finalists for the exhibition. The judge will select winners of cash prizes from the finalists once they are installed. The exhibition will include approximately 70 pieces of art and will be on exhibit May 2 thru June 3, 2017 in the gallery and mezzanine of The Emerald Art Center in Springfield, Oregon.
